Standard payment terms

TKM works alongside a diverse range of clients from different countries with different expectations for payment terms.

We aim to accommodate any reasonable request, provided that doing so would not unfairly prejudice the interests of another client.

We will always agree payment terms before beginning an investigation. Usually, TKM will invoice monthly for fees incurred over the past 30 days and payment becomes due 14 days later.

We can adjust this schedule so that you receive an invoice on a different day each month if you prefer.

For certain types of organisation we offer flexible payment terms, which maybe appropriate to your situation. Typically, these are available to:

In certain types of investigation, we will request payment on account before carrying out any substantial work. This is usually because of restrictions imposed by the legal territory of the client or because we anticipate that our expenses during the course of the investigation will be particularly high.
