International travel advisories

TKM is uniquely positioned to respond to situations around the world at very short notice. This gives our specialists the best chance of recovering valuable evidence.

In exceptional circumstances however, we have to adjust or suspend our services to certain countries. We do this based on advice from the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office as well as other multinational sources.

We are currently offering a restricted service to the following countries (listed alphabetically):

CameroonThe area bordering Nigeria in the region of the Bakassi Peninsula
Central African RepublicEntire country
ChadThe area bordering the Darfur region of Sudan
ColombiaChoco, Putumayo, Meta, Narino, Caqueta and Norte de Santander departments, and rural areas of Arauca, Sucre, Bolivar, Antioquia and Cauca departments
Congo (Democratic Republic)Eastern and north-eastern areas
EcuadorNorthern border area including the provinces of Sucumbios and Orellana as well as Baños (due to the Tungurahua volcano)
EritreaBorder areas with Ethiopia and Sudan, including Tesseney, near the Sudan border. Also the area north of Afabet in the Sahel region
EthiopiaGambella Region and within 20 kms of the Eritrean border in the Tigray and Afar regions
GeorgiaThe breakaway regions of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, the Pankisi gorge beyond Akhmeta and the Svaneti region (north west Georgia)
HaitiEntire country
IndiaJammu and Kashmir (with the exceptions of Ladakh via Manali or air to Leh), the immediate vicinity of the border with Pakistan and the Line of Control, Manipur and Tripura
IndonesiaAceh, some parts of Maluku (especially Ambon) and some parts of Sulawesi
IranBorder areas with Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq
IraqEntire country
Israel & O/TBorder with Lebanon, and close to the Israeli side of the Israel/Gaza Strip border. Also West Bank and Gaza Strip.

LiberiaAll areas except Monrovia and Freetown, Sierra Leone
MaliNorth of Timbuktu, the western border area with Mauritania and the eastern border with Niger
NigerAïr Massif, Ténéré and Kaouar regions, the Azawagh area and a 200km deep zone along the borders with Mali, Algeria/Libya and Chad
NigeriaBakassi Peninsula and by boat and road to the riverine areas in Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States
PakistanThe Federally Administered Tribal Areas adjacent to Afghanistan, including Waziristan and the Khyber Pass
PhilippinesCentral, southern and Western Mindanao, and the Sulu archipelago including Basilan, Tawi-Tawi and Jo
Russian FederationChechnya, Ingushetia, Dagestan and to the eastern and southern parts of Stavropol Krai that border Chechnya and Dagestan. Also North Ossetia, Karachai-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria
